Bryant City Council will discuss a pair of animal control ordinances at this week’s Council Workshop.

The public is invited to a workshop on Thursday, May 21, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. It will be held in the City Hall Court Room at 210 SW 3rd Street.
The Council will review two ordinances regarding animal control. The workshop will also be streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
The agenda includes two new business items:
an Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 6 of 1948, providing for the keeping of livestock and fowl in the City of Bryant, and for other purposes.
an Ordinance repealing Ordinances No. 1999-8 & 1999-9; providing for the public safety and animal control ordinance in the City of Bryant; and for other purposes.
Both items address specific animal control issues that have been discussed in previous meetings and sessions Detailed plans will be shared during the meeting.
The public will have the opportunity to comment before the council proceeds with any discussions.
