General Manager Allison Pepper wrote on social media, “It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the Benton Applebee’s location will be shutting down in a few days. I have put a lot into this store and have made many friendships along the way. If y’all go out to eat this weekend, consider visiting our store and show your server and bartender some love. Managers looking to hire staff, come visit with mine, as most of them will not be relocating to our Hot Springs store.”
The Hot Springs restaurant will remain open, according to Ms. Pepper. The Benton location opened in 2005.
Pepper told MySaline, “We all thank the community for allowing us to serve them and get to know so many of them on a personal basis as well. All of us has developed so many friendships with community members through the restaurant and I will miss them all terribly.”
The last day for this Applebee’s, located at 17348 Interstate 30, will be Monday, April 28, 2025.
