Arkansas Health Center seeking float entries for annual Christmas parade Dec. 3rd
The Arkansas Health Center will host its annual Christmas Parade on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026, inviting local residents, businesses, and community groups to enter decorated floats and vehicles to bring holiday cheer to facility residents.
The evening event in Benton will feature a festive procession, photos with Santa, and a holiday fundraiser for center residents. Read more below.
The parade will take place on the Arkansas Health Center campus at 6701 Hwy 67 in Benton. Lineup for float participants begins at 5:00 p.m. beside the credit union at Building 67, with the parade stepping off at 6:00 p.m.
Organizers invite participants to decorate a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, trailers, cars, side-by-sides, and four-wheelers. To maintain tradition for young spectators, event coordinators ask that participants do not place a Santa Claus on individual floats, as Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their official appearance at the conclusion of the parade.
Following the procession, Santa Claus will be available for photos. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own cameras or cell phones, as no commercial photographer will be on site.
Concessions including hot chocolate and coffee will be sold for $1.00 during the event. All proceeds from drink sales directly benefit the Friends of AHC Residents’ Christmas Fund, which provides gifts and holiday support for center residents.
Community members and groups interested in entering a float or vehicle must RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026. Registration inquiries should be directed to organizer Theresa Davis by calling 501-860-0828, emailing [email protected], or sending a direct message on Facebook.
