A woman has been arrested on multiple felony charges, including commercial burglary, after allegedly stealing merchandise from a local boutique in Bryant. The arrest on July 15, 2026 followed a social media appeal by the store’s owner, which quickly led to the suspect’s identification by community members. Read more below.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 8, at Willow & Grace in Bryant. According to the store owner, the suspect entered the business carrying only a tote bag and wearing black sandals.
Video surveillance reportedly captured the woman filling her purse with clothing and small items, then leaving the store wearing a stolen pair of sneakers while holding her original sandals and a stolen sweatshirt.
The owner shared details of the theft on social media, including a description of the suspect’s distinctive tattoos on her left arm and right shoulder blade.
She also provided a description of the suspect’s vehicle, a lifted mint green and blue four-door Jeep Wrangler with black rims, gas cap, grill, and handles.
Following the post, individuals quickly identified the woman, allowing police to obtain her name and address.
The Bryant Police Department officially arrested Hannah Peters on July 15, 2026.
Peters faces several charges, including:
• a Class B felony for unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate a crime,
• a Class C felony for commercial burglary,
• a Class D felony for theft of property with a prior conviction, and
• a misdemeanor for driving with a canceled, suspended, or revoked license.
Bond amounts for the charges have not yet been set.
