The Arkansas Health Care Association will host a grand opening celebration for the newly constructed Willow Ridge Nursing and Rehab facility in Benton on Thursday, July 2. The event will welcome the community to the new center and feature appearances by several state officials.
The celebration will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 3855 Benton Parkway. Secretary of State Cole Jester is scheduled to attend, alongside special guests Sen. Kim Hammer, Rep. Paul Childress, and Rep. RJ Hawk. Facility leadership, staff members, residents, and their families will also be on hand to commemorate the expansion of local healthcare services.
Willow Ridge provides comprehensive medical, nursing, and social services for individuals transitioning from hospital care. The Medicare and Medicaid-certified facility offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and dedicated physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The center also provides short-term respite stays to support at-home caregivers who need time to recharge.
The Benton facility features all-private residential rooms, including two specialized bariatric rooms, and is equipped with a modern rehabilitation gym. Residents can enjoy a variety of amenities designed to enrich their quality of life, such as restaurant-style dining, a walking trail, an outdoor courtyard, and free transportation. As the center continues to grow, administrators are actively hiring compassionate nurses, therapists, and support staff.
The grand opening event is organized in partnership with the Arkansas Health Care Association. Established in 1951, the AHCA is the state’s largest organization of long-term care providers, representing over 90 percent of licensed long-term care facilities in Arkansas.
