Sofia Michelle Osborne, a bright, beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was just 18 years old.
Born on October 9, 2006, in Benton, Arkansas, Sofia lived her life with passion, determination, and a strong commitment to justice. She was a proud member of the Clark County School District Class of 2025 and a dedicated student at Southeast Career Technical Academy. Sofia was employed at Caramá by Wolfgang Puck.
Beyond her academics and work, Sofia was deeply moved by the world around her and often used her voice for others. She had expressed concern and passion regarding immigration reform. This dedication to fairness and advocacy was a core part of her compassionate spirit.
Sofia is survived by her loving father, Billy Osborne, of Benton, Arkansas; her devoted mother, Paula Hernandez, of Las Vegas, Nevada; and brother Andy of Benton. Sofia is also survived by grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of family and friends in Las Vegas, Nevada; Benton, Arkansas; and Mexico, who will cherish her memory.

Services were held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Davis Funeral Home and at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Las Vegas on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
