The Saline Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming concert, “A Twisted Christmas,” plans take you on an imaginative holiday ride on December 13th. Bring a canned food donation if you like. Read more below.
The show begins at 7 pm in Bryant High School’s Love Auditorium (BHS Fine Arts Building) with a delightful mix of classical fare and a walk on the wild side of the Christmas Holiday.
Dr. Aleksandr Polyakov will conduct the musical journey, featuring Mrs. Mardell Lasiter as the evening’s Master of Ceremonies.
Love Auditorium on the Campus of Bryant High School:
The 90 minute program features the orchestral premiere of Chris Richard’s “The Krampus Suite”, a musical battle between Krampus and Santa. Dr. Amy Porter will perform a vocal solo of selections from the Bach Quintets. The program includes student musicians, with the Parkway Elementary Choir and the Hurricane Creek Elementary Music Club.
Donations for the Bryant High School Food Pantry will be collected in the lobby before the concert. Admission to the event is free; donations are encouraged.
You don’t need tickets, but seating is not reserved. Come early for the best parking and seating, and enjoy our extra performances in the lobby and during intermission. The performance is suitable for all ages. The Saline Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
