Founded in 2008, Saline River Canoe began as a family hobby. It has grown into a well-loved business, welcoming locals and visitors eager to experience the natural beauty of the Saline River. The Sacomanis play a key role in encouraging outdoor activity and environmental appreciation in Saline County.
Beyond recreation, the couple’s mission extends to preservation and education. They regularly organize annual river cleanups in collaboration with local and state partners including Friends of the Saline, Benton Parks and Recreation, Recycle Saline, Saline River Watershed Alliance, Arkie Travels, the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission, and ACCBOATR.
Their leadership continues to inspire others to help protect one of Benton’s most cherished natural treasures. Congrats to the Sacomanis and Saline River Canoe, and thank you for your contributions to our community.
