The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle believed to be involved in an attempted carjacking that occurred on December 28, 2025.
According to the department, deputies responded around 12:30 p.m. to a report of an attempted carjacking near North Sardis and Pauls Valley. The victim told deputies they had pulled over to check on what appeared to be a disabled early 2000s black Honda Accord with no license tags and tinted windows. The vehicle was reportedly stopped on the side of the road with its hood up.
As the victim approached, a Hispanic male suspect—described as approximately 5’5”, heavyset, with a beard and tattoos on his left arm—allegedly attempted to pull the victim from their vehicle. A second suspect, described as a young white female, approximately 5’6”, 130 pounds, with blonde hair and a pink stripe, was also involved in the incident.
Authorities emphasize that the photo included in their alert is not the exact vehicle but is representative of the make and model in question.
