Local students have an exclusive opportunity to secure financial aid for the upcoming school year as the Saline County Executive Association (SCEA) officially opens applications for its annual scholarship program. Read more below.
Scholarship Details & Eligibility Requirements
The SCEA scholarship is designed specifically to support Saline County residents pursuing higher education. To qualify, applicants must be full-time students who have already accumulated 24 hours or more of higher education at an Arkansas college or university, or completed at least one semester at a public or private vocational school. Graduate students are also welcome and encouraged to apply. The award will be paid directly out for the Fall 2026 semester.
Individual scholarship values will range between $500 and $2,500. The final number of scholarships awarded and their exact dollar amounts will be determined by the SCEA Scholarship Committee based on financial need, the total number of applicants, and the overall quality of the submissions received.
How to Apply & Important Deadlines
The absolute deadline to apply is Friday, June 5, 2026. All physical application packets must be postmarked by this date to be considered for review. SCEA strictly notes that incomplete packets will be automatically disqualified, regardless of when they were postmarked, so applicants should double-check that all requested information is included.
To request an official application packet, students must send an email to [email protected] with the word “Scholarship” in the subject line. Please note that application packets will only be distributed digitally via email; no physical packets will be sent out through the mail. This email address should also be used for any official correspondence throughout the application process.
Once fully completed, the application packets must be mailed to the following address:
