Join Saline County History & Heritage Society (SCHHS) for the June program on Saline County’s contributions to World War II. Shane Lind will present. He is the Program Coordinator at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History in Little Rock.

Mr. Lind has been with the MacArthur Museum since 2016. Before that, he was Special Events Coordinator for the Student Center at the University of Central Arkansas. He also has experience with the National Park Service, having served as an Interpretive Park Ranger at Fort Smith National Historic Site, Arkansas Post National Memorial, Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, Central High School National Historic Site, and Buffalo National River.

The event is Thursday, June 12th, 2025. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. but come early to get a good parking spot, a good seat and good conversation.

Show your support for history by attending this presentation, and bring a friend. There’s no charge to attend, and guests are welcome. However, if you’d like to become a supporting member of the SCHHS, it’s $25 per year per household which helps to sustain our non-profit in educating the community on the county’s history, preservation of our great heritage, and providing a space for research.
