When the doors of Pretties & Grace first opened, it wasn’t about building just another boutique – it was about following a calling. What started with a love for decorating quickly grew from a small booth in a vintage market into a bustling shop in the heart of downtown Benton.

Along the way, the vision expanded: to create more than a place to shop, but an experience rooted in faith, beauty, and connection. Today, with home décor, gifts, and their exclusive Christian apparel line, Pretties & Grace and Wild 2.0 have become a one-of-a-kind destination where every piece tells a story and every design carries a meaning.

For Terri Baker and her team, faith is at the center of everything. 95% of the shop’s offerings are faith-based, from scripture stones mined in the Holy Land to apparel inspired by verses like James 1:17 and Luke 12:27. Their motto, “It’s more than words on a shirt,” is more than a hashtag, it’s the heart behind the Wild line.

Every shirt, every candle, every décor piece is chosen to inspire and encourage, while the shop itself is designed to feel like home. Customers aren’t just shoppers here; they’re greeted by name, connected with personally, and treated like friends.

That heart for people is what sets Pretties & Grace apart and why the community has embraced them so fully. Being voted both Favorite Gift Shop and Favorite Specialty Boutique in Saline County is an honor they don’t take lightly.

“It means more than you know,” Terri, the owner, shared. “When you’re small and new, just being nominated feels incredible. But knowing that our community values local shops enough to show up for us, it means everything.”

As they look ahead, Pretties & Grace is excited for what’s next: seasonal events like their fall tent sale and Glitz & Garland Christmas open house, as well as the continued growth of Wild 2.0. But no matter how much they expand, the mission stays the same; to let every customer see the Lord, feel at home, and leave knowing they’re more than just a sale.
