Saline County seeks applicants for position on Planning Board

Help shape the future of Saline County by becoming a member of the Saline County Planning Board. They are currently taking applications. Read more below.

A selection committee will review applicants and make a recommendation to the Board. That committee includes Planning Board Chairman Layne Penfield, County Judge Matt Brumley, and Justice of the Peace Rick Bellinger.

ABOUT THE BOARD

The Saline County Planning Board oversees the subdivision rules and regulations of Saline County. The purpose of the subdivision rules and regulations is to make adequate provision to guide, direct and control future growth and development in Saline County in an orderly, efficient, healthful and economic manner.

WHEN & WHERE:

The Saline County Planning Board meets Monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held in Courtroom #3 of the Saline County Courthouse located at 200 N. Main St., Benton, AR 72015.
