Saline County committees will meet Tuesday, to address flood-prone areas, and other potential disasters. A hazard mitigation plan is required by the Federal Government in order to receive funding from FEMA after natural disasters. Read the full ordinance below.

Officials also plan to appoint a new Library Board member. James Hunt is set to replace the expired seat previously held by Marian Douglas.

And finally, the County drafted an ordinance to move funds received from surplus. The ordinance would also allow payments for a protection wall at the Sheriff’s Office, projects at the County Airport, a subscription to the County Law Library, and other appropriations.

The Saline County Public Works and Safety Committee along with the Finance Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in Courtroom #3.
