Warmer weather is on the way, and that means it’s time to hit the links for a good cause. Ponder the Kids Kauses (PTKK) will host the 2nd Annual “Par Fore The Kids” four-person golf scramble on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Hurricane Creek Golf & Country Club.
The nonprofit organization, founded to serve children in Saline County year-round, says it’s looking forward to building on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament .
Par Fore the Kids supports local children through school supply assistance, partnerships with Bright Futures Benton, weekend backpack food programs, and its long-running Kids at Christmas initiative .
🕗 Event Schedule
- 8:00 a.m. — Registration
- 8:30 a.m. — Shotgun Start
- 12:00 p.m. — Lunch
- 12:30 p.m. — Winners & Prizes Announced
Lunch and drinks will be provided, and at least two flights will award cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams .
- Team Registration: $500
- Games Package Add-On: $100
The optional games package includes:
- Mulligans
- Putting contest
- Longest drive contest
- Closest-to-the-pin contest
- Hole-in-one opportunity (up to $10,000 listed in packet)
Unpaid team reservations will be released to a waiting list after March 31, so early registration is encouraged .
Businesses and individuals can also support the event through several sponsorship levels :
- Presenting Sponsor (Hole-in-One Level): $3,000
Includes entry for two four-person teams and priority logo placement. (Marked as SOLD in packet) - Eagle Sponsor (Lunch Sponsor): $1,500
Includes one team entry and logo placement. - Birdie Sponsor (Drink Sponsor): $750
Includes one team entry and logo placement. - Par Sponsor (Hole Sponsor): $125
Includes logo placement on event signage.
Like team registrations, unpaid sponsorship selections will also be released after March 31 .
According to PTKK President Jerry Ponder, the organization’s mission extends far beyond the holidays, providing assistance throughout the year to meet the needs of local children.
Organizers say they are aiming for an even bigger and better tournament this year, promising a day of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition — all in support of Saline County kids.
