The 51st Annual Old Fashioned Day event is coming to Downtown Benton on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
It’s Benton’s oldest festival with shopping, entertainment, contests, games AND a big fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Senior Adults of Saline County.
It takes place outdoors in downtown Benton, around the Saline County Courthouse. There will be live music and other performances, fun contests like best beard, activities, shopping, food trucks, a Cornhole Tournament and more!

The annual Old Fashioned Day, hosted by the Saline County Council on Aging, is an annual tradition dedicated to raising essential funds for the senior citizens of Saline County. For over 50 years, this beloved event has brought the community together to celebrate heritage, support local businesses, and provide financial assistance for vital services at the Benton Senior Activity and Wellness Center. These services, ranging from health programs to social activities, ensure that seniors in Saline County can thrive.
