OBITUARY
Connor Andrew Smith
Feb 17, 2005 – May 20, 2025 Benton, Arkansas
In Loving Memory of Connor Andrew Smith. He had a heart full of adventure and a soul deeply connected to the world of nature. He loved fishing anywhere there was water—even a puddle—but especially cherished the peaceful waters of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, and the lake house at Lake Palestine in Texas. His love for animals was constant, guiding him toward a degree in wildlife conservation and reflected in the joy he found in Pokémon and every living creature.
Connor’s presence was gentle, curious, and full of life. He leaves behind his mother, Mary Young (Rick); siblings Anastasia, Sydney (Branden), Tristan, and Quintin (Heaven); nephew Roman; sister Madison; father Travis Smith (Cassie); siblings, Emma, Cole, and Willow. He is also survived by his Uncle Will Wilson (Arianne) and cousins Rylynn and Kalynn; Aunt Heather Hardin (Mark) and cousins Lily and Liam; grandparents Billy Wilson (Nana’s PawPaw), Brian Hining (Dallas PawPaw), Debra Sue Hining (Mia), Mary Stuart (Dallas Memaw), and Regina Smith (Grammy).
Connor is now reunited with those who went before him: Laurie Wilson (Nana), Lulu Wilson (Granny), Joe Wilson (Granny’s PawPaw), Irene Schrader (MeMaw), Walter Schrader (PaPaw), Elizabeth Hining (Grandma Hining), Bill Smith (Paps), and Ethel Starrett (MawMaw).
This memorial honors Connor’s life, his love for the wild, and his unwavering kindness. Through this, we carry his light forward.
A memorial service will be held on Friday June 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM prior to the service.
