The local observance will take place at 12:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn. It is part of the nationwide National Day of Prayer, an annual tradition observed across the United States.
Organizers say several community leaders will be in attendance, including Bryant Mayor Chris Treat, Benton Mayor Tom Farmer, and other local leaders. Their participation reflects a collaboration between civic leadership and community organizations for the event.
The gathering is hosted by Her PLAN, which stands for Her Pregnancy and Life Assistance Network. The organization works to connect communities with resources that support women and families by facilitating partnerships among providers offering medical assistance, social support, and material resources. Their mission is to empower women and families through coordinated, community-based care.
Organizers encourage residents from across Saline County to attend and participate in the event.
