Evelyn G. of Mabelvale won $200,000 playing 777, a $10 that scratch-off instant ticket game. She claimed her prize on September 22nd.
The winning ticket was sold at Mercado San Jose, located at 7411 Geyer Springs Road in Little Rock.
Evelyn, who plays twice a week during her grocery trips, says she doesn’t stick to one particular game.
“I usually just pick whatever looks good,” she said.
This time, her choice paid off, in a big way with her ticket holding a $200,000 top prize.
“I couldn’t believe it!” Evelyn told lottery officials. “I said, ‘Really?’”
Evelyn has yet to tell anyone about her big win. She hasn’t decided how she’ll use her prize, but she does intend to continue playing lottery games.
