The Lake Norrell Area Fire Protection District is inviting community members from across Central Arkansas to gather for its annual Fish Fry Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026.
The evening event will feature a dinner menu, silent auction items, and family activities to raise funds for the local volunteer fire department. Read more below.
The community fundraiser will run from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Lake Norrell Volunteer Fire Department station, located at 12795 Avilla West in Alexander. Tickets are priced at $20 for adults and $15 for children under age 11.
Admission includes a menu featuring fried fish, fried chicken, chicken strips, hushpuppies, cole slaw, baked beans, dessert, and drinks. In addition to the meal, attendees will have the opportunity to visit with area neighbors, local residents, and elected officials.
A highlight of the fundraiser is a silent auction featuring items contributed by local supporters. Department organizers are seeking additional donated auction items—including new merchandise, jewelry, agricultural supplies, and homemade desserts such as pies, cakes, cookies, puddings, and cupcakes—to support the cause.
