There’s no possible way I could say this just one more time. After the court session was over, I turned my phone back on, and there were so many texts waiting, it sounded like I was pumping gas – DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! And the texts and phone calls and emails and Facebook and Twitter and MySaline messages did not stop for some time.
All this attention to the matter wasn’t because I’m so beloved (but, c’mon, I am enough to get a few calls, right?). It was because of that “we the people” part of the Preamble to the US Constitution. It was because folks get straight up in their chair when you tell them the First Amendment – or any other – doesn’t matter. I’ve told friend after family member after reporter this story today and I’m dog tired, so I’ll just leave you with some links to the media’s account, including interviews with my attorney and myself.
