The Hooked on Outdoors Fishing Derby is back for 2025. Adults and kids can enter in this annual event.

Get your ready for this fun event put on by a partnership between Benton Parks & Rec, Arkansas Game & Fish, Benton PD, Eat My Catfish, and Goon-ies at Sunset. The location is Sunset Lake (map), and it’s set for Saturday, April 12th, from 9am until Noon.
There will be awards, raffles, food, drinks, canoe rides, animals for adoption, Game & Fish’s mobile aquarium, a BB-gun range and a boat show. All of this is a free event.
