UPDATE JAN 13, 2022
The Thursday Jan 13th performance of Grease is cancelled, but the show will go on the rest of the weekend. The following is a statement by the Royal Players Thursday morning:
Dear Patrons of the Royal Theatre,
Like so many other organizations, the Young Players have been affected by the recent wave in COVID infections. Currently, several of our young actors have been in quarantine, and will be until Friday. At that time, all Rydell High School students will be back on the stage and ready to entertain you. For this reason, we are canceling our Thursday evening performance, but will proceed with performances on Friday the 14th through Sunday the 16th. Additionally, we are adding a make-up class matinee performance on Saturday the 15th at 2:30. Anyone who purchased tickets for the Thursday evening performance will be refunded. Currently, tickets are still available for the remaining shows, and we hope to see you there!
