The EMpact One Foundation is once again hitting the road with its Mobile Sports Locker, a traveling resource designed to remove barriers and ensure every child has the equipment they need to participate in sports and recreational activities.
The Mobile Sports Locker collects and distributes new and gently used sports equipment to youth and families at no cost. All services are completely free, and distribution events are open to anyone who may need equipment, with no registration or qualifications required.
“The goal of the Mobile Sports Locker is simple,” said Bekka Wilkerson, Executive Director of The EMpact One Foundation. “We want to make sure cost is never the reason a child can’t play.”
The Mobile Sports Locker will be visiting several locations in the coming weeks, welcoming families, athletes, and community members:

2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

In addition to distributing equipment, The EMpact One Foundation continuously accepts donations of new and gently used sports gear and partners with schools, leagues, and community organizations to bring the Mobile Sports Locker to new locations.
“We are always open to scheduling additional Mobile Sports Locker events,” Wilkerson added. “If a school, team, or community group sees a need, we want to help meet it.”
Community members who need equipment, would like to donate, or are interested in hosting a Mobile Sports Locker event are encouraged to attend an upcoming stop or reach out to Bekka directly via email at [email protected].
