Two big Christmas events in downtown Benton are kicking off soon and it’s easy to get them confused. 🤔 It’s also confusing for how to register to be in the Christmas Parade, so we added that info.
Read the breakdown below and be the friend who knows what’s up! We give all the deets and links to more, on these three things:
1. Small Town Christmas, 2. Christmas on the Square (yep, similar names), and 3. the Saline County Christmas Parade.

1 ⭐ Small Town Christmas (Nov 30 – Jan 4) is organized by the City of Benton Mayor’s office.
WHAT: It’s a series of fun holiday activities hosted with city departments and local businesses, mostly at the Downtown Benton Farmers Market.
WHEN/WHERE: Small Town Christmas begins Sunday November 30, at 5pm.
DEETS: with the 🎄 Benton tree lighting ceremony. The location is Owens-Mooney Park at the corner of South & Main.
After the ceremony, the ⛸️ Free Skating Rink opens at Farmers Market which is just a few feet away at Ashley and Main Street, behind the building with True Boutique & Throwback Cuts.

2 ⭐ Christmas on the Square (Dec 1 – Jan 4) is organized by the Saline County Judge’s office.
WHAT: It’s several nights of fun, holiday-themed activities with Santa and goodies, hosted at the Saline County Courthouse.
WHEN/WHERE: Christmas on the Square begins Monday December 1st, at 6pm.
DEETS: Officials & pageant queens, will gather on the Market Street side of the Saline County Courthouse to be live at THV11 News, and switch on the 💡 lights and decor at the Courthouse. The Saline County Christmas Parade begins at the same time.

3 ⭐ Saline County Christmas Parade (Dec 1) is organized by the Downtown Benton Business Owners.
WHAT: It’s a procession of bands, cheer, car clubs, businesses and more, wrapping around the main areas of downtown Benton. It starts at CW Lewis Stadium at the same time the Courthouse lights are switched on.
WHEN/WHERE: The Saline County Christmas Parade begins Monday December 1st, at 6pm.
DEETS: Next the 🥁 Christmas Parade will travel Market, North, and Main Streets, and drop 🎅🏻 Santa at the Courthouse Gazebo for children to visit and get their picture made with him.
