The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a way to check current levels of Covid-19 infection by counties. If you go to their website, you can specify Arkansas, and then Saline County, to get information about our area.
Right now, it says Covid-19 infections in Saline County are high – some of the highest in the state compared to other counties. As of July 14, 2022, the CDC is recommending wearing a mask indoors in public, staying up to date with Covid-19 vaccines, and to get tested if you have symptoms. The statistics are updated weekly on Thursdays.
Saline County, Arkansas currently has a case rate of 291.58 per 100,000 population. The county has 18.5 new Covid-19 hospital admissions per 100,000 population.
