The Bryant Police Department has arrested a suspect in the triple murder case near the middle school off Zuber Road. Their statement follows:
FROM BRYANT POLICE, SUN JUNE 22, 2025:
This evening, at approximately 3:30 PM, Bryant Officers and Saline County Sheriff Deputies apprehended 34-year-old Jarrod Mitchell.
Mitchell was identified as a person of interest early in the investigation into the triple homicide that occurred today.
Mitchell is charged with killing his sister and 2 parents. He will be transported to the Saline County Detention Center, where he faces charges of three counts of 1st Degree Murder.

Three bodies were discovered in a home in the Benjamin Grove subdivision on Sunday morning, off Zuber Road. The Bryant Police Department issued a statement on the incident. Read more below.
FROM BRYANT POLICE, SUN JUNE 22, 2025:
Around 7:30 this morning, three victims were found deceased from gunshot wounds on Lena Dr.
The caller who reported the incident stated that he came home from work and found his wife and in-laws deceased from what appears to be gunshot wounds. Additionally, three uninjured children were found in the home.
We are still in the early stages of this investigation, and the Bryant Police Criminal Investigation Division is actively following up on leads.
There were no signs of forced entry or signs of this being a home invasion. The victims’ names have not been released at this time.
