Council Chair Evelyn Reed declares a quorum and calls the meeting to order. Introductions are
made around the room. Council Chair Reed made a motion to entertain approval of the March
11th minutes, Council member Trevor Villines made a motion, Council member Jeff Hamm
seconded the motion. Motion carries.

NEW BUSINESS
Proposed Ordinance Annexing Certain Real Properties Located at 7120 Alcoa Road and 1049
Elenore Road. Community Development Director, John Parton spoke (INAUDIBLE). Council
Chair Reed ask for motion to approve. Council member Jeff Morrow made a motion, Council
member Jeff Hamm seconded the motion to approve to go forth with the ordinance, motion
carries.
CONDEMNATIONS AND LIENS –
2309 West Lakeview was removed as it was paid.

These are simply cases of renters moving out and leaving debris in the street. Proper notice was
given and then Code Enforcement went in to clean things out according to Bruce Thomas. They
have been working with good contractors and getting competitive prices.
18623 I-30 Condemnation – Looking at the pictures, you can see the house is visible from the
interstate and is falling apart. The homeowner has come in and purchased a demolition permit
however, it’ll be 6 weeks before council meets again so hopefully it will be pulled from the
agenda. Council chair Reed made a motion to go forward with the resolution for 1908 West
Lakeview, 4121 Brandy Drive and 18623 I-30. Council member Frank Baptist made a motion,
Council member Jeff Hamm seconded the motion, motion carries.

PRIMSOSE UPDATE – Bruce Thomas stated there’s work done on the exterior. He states code
enforcement goes by there at least twice a week. Council member Frank Baptist asked about the
interior of the house. Mr. Thomas stated significant work has been done. Council member Jeff
Morrow asked if our ordinance states that the house should be habitable. Council member Frank
Baptist asked about a time – line on the air conditioning. Mr. Thomas states that the air
conditioning is not required. He said the primary issue in this house was mold, that has been
taken care of and the air conditioning isn’t a big issue at this point. Council member Jeff Hamm
spoke (INAUDIBLE). Council member Judd Hart thank code enforcement for all the hard
work they’ve been doing.
