The Benton Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that a Special Agent from the FBI’s Little Rock Field Office will headline its upcoming member luncheon on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
The presentation, titled “Nihilistic Violent Extremism: Understanding the Threat,” will focus on an emerging safety issue characterized by individuals or groups who encourage and glorify violence specifically to generate chaos within society.
The event is designed to help local business leaders and community members recognize, understand, and navigate these modern security challenges.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Benton Event Center, located at 17322 Interstate 30 North. Admission is free for both current Chamber members and “future members” interested in joining the organization.
Lunch for the event is being provided courtesy of the Farmers Bank Foundation. Organizers are asking attendees to RSVP by Tuesday, June 4th. Registrations should be sent via email to Kayla Ray at [email protected].
