The school district is partnering with Arkansas Children’s Hospital in conducting emergency drills on April 23rd. This will be part of Project ADAM, and aims to save lives by preventing dire medical situations.
Fire and ambulance personnel will be dispatched to the schools for the drills. This also helps Bauxite to qualify to be a Heart Safe School.
Programs empower schools to establish and sustain effective cardiac emergency response programs designed to save lives during sudden cardiac arrest. Project ADAM has over 53 affiliates in 34 states.
