The Bauxite Cemetery Committee is calling on the community to help set the record straight—literally—by updating burial and plot ownership records this month.

The committee invites anyone with friends or family buried in the cemetery—or anyone who has purchased a plot—to stop by and provide some much-needed details. They’re looking for names, relationships, addresses, and contact information to make sure every record is accurate and complete.

“We’re trying to fill in the gaps,” said one committee member. “If you have family buried here or own a plot, we’d love to hear from you.”

Those who’ve already shared their info with Larry Davis are covered, but new or updated submissions are welcome. The effort will help preserve the history of the cemetery and ensure its records reflect all who rest there.
