Overnight work on the Interstate could get noisy near downtown Benton at the week’s beginning. Read more below.
Work on Interstate 30 in Saline County requires temporary overnight closures of the outside lane of I-30 eastbound and the on-ramp at Exit 116 (Sevier Street/South Street).
This will happen Sunday and Monday overnight:
- From 9 p.m. Sun May 17
- Until 6 a.m. Mon May 18 and
- From 9 p.m. Mon May 18
- Until 6 a.m. Tue May 19.
Weather permitting, crews will close the outside lane of I-30 eastbound and the on-ramp at Sevier Street / South Street for ramp work during these times.
Signage will be posted in advance of the closure and drivers are encouraged to use alternate ramps during the closure.
To access I-30 eastbound, use the on-ramp at Exit 117 (Saline Memorial Hospital).
Traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
