Get yourself and your dog ready for tails, treats, and plenty of Halloween fun. Local pet lovers are invited to dress up their four-legged friends in creative costumes for a chance to win prizes and show off their spooky (or silly) style. Read more below.
The annual Dog Costume Contest will take place on Saturday, October 25, at Another Season, located at 520 Alcoa Boulevard in Benton.
Judging begins at 1:30 p.m., and the entry fee is just $5 per dog. All proceeds benefiting the Saline County Humane Society. The first-place prize will be an incredible custom portrait of your pet created by a local artist — a one-of-a-kind keepsake for the winning pup’s proud owner.
The event will feature much more than the costume parade. Families can enjoy free hot dogs, candy for the kids, a pick-and-paint pumpkin station, and festive photo opportunities perfect for capturing memories with costumed canines.
Whether your dog is dressed as a superhero, a ghost, or something hilariously unexpected, this contest is a great way to celebrate Halloween while supporting a local cause. Grab your pup, plan that costume, and join the fun for a day full of wagging tails and community spirit.
