The Arkansas National Guard will conduct a series of flyovers across the state to celebrate the United States Semiquincentennial – also known as the USA’s 250th birthday.
A large list of cities, including Benton, can expect to see military aircraft, including C-130s and Blackhawks, soaring overhead on Monday. See below for the schedule.

The four-day “FlyOver Arkansas” event marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and honors the service and sacrifice of military men and women. The event begins Monday, June 29, with the flight path bringing military aircraft through Benton while on their way southwest – and back.
A C-130 will fly over downtown Benton sometime between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Spectators with an unobstructed view toward the Saline County Courthouse will have the best opportunity to spot the aircraft.
The statewide event continues through Thursday, July 2, bringing military aircraft to dozens of other Arkansas communities. Here’s the full schedule for flights:
