The City of Alexander is hosting free community clean-up days in September to help residents dispose of large waste items and keep the city clean. The two-day disposal event will run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. Read more below.
Dumpsters and a specialized tire trailer will be set up at the HDC property, the former Human Development Center, which is located close to the Alexander Police Department at 14701 Hwy 111.
To participate, residents must live within the city limits of Alexander. City officials will require attendees to present both a photo identification card and a utility bill displaying an in-city Alexander address. For a quicker and easier dumping experience, city staff strongly suggests that residents pick up free dumping vouchers in advance at City Hall.
