Hallie Shoffner, a candidate for U.S. Congress in Arkansas’s 2nd District, will visit Bryant on Monday, July 27, for a public event as part of her “Statewide Listening Tour.” The gathering aims to give local residents a chance to voice their concerns and ideas ahead of the November election. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Purple Room of the Bishop Center, located at 6401 Boone Road. According to campaign promotional materials, Shoffner is traveling across the state “to listen to our challenges, our ideas, and our solutions, so we can build a stronger future together.”

Shoffner is challenging incumbent Congressman French Hill for the 2nd District seat. The general election is scheduled to take place on Nov. 3, 2026.
