Vicki Lynn Langley
Vicki Lynn Langley, age 69, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2026. She was born July 11, 1957 in Benton, Arkansas. Vicki was the daughter of Argus & Nellie Hardin. She graduated from Benton High School. Vicki went on to work as a Dietetic Technician/Dietary Supervisor at the Arkansas Health Center where she retired after 35 years of service.
She was known for her faith, being very headstrong, and her dedication to her family. Her children, granddaughters, and great-granddaughter were her entire life. Vicki loved to travel and enjoyed all sporting events; especially football. She never met a stranger.
Vicki is survived by her children, Jeremy Langley (Gwen) and Kelly Hester (Josh); granddaughters, Brooke Langley, Hailey Raper, and Isabella Glascock; great-granddaughter, Joslyn Pate; sisters, Catherine Milton and Linda “Totsi” Beck; brother, Carol “Dude” Shelton; and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Carey Langley; son, Tony Langley; her mother & father; and four siblings, Virgil “Bud” Shelton, James Shelton, Joyce “Itsy” Boyd, and Dorothy “Dovie” Franklin.
Visitation will be 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 at Ashby Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Langley Cemetery. Barbara Calhoun will be officiating.

Timothy Joe Kitchens
Timothy Joe Kitchens, of Benton, beloved husband, father, Pa-Paw, Papa Joe, and friend, went to his heavenly home on July 23, 2026, at the age of 75. He was born on February 20, 1951, to Tommie Joe and Jean Kitchens.
Joe was a devoted husband who loved his bride, Dorena, with all his heart. Together, they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. He was a loving father to his daughter, Monica Russell (Bobby), and his son, Jason Byrd, and a proud Pa-Paw to his four grandsons, Cameron, Colby, Peyton, and Brayden. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Rowan.
Joe was a member of Holland Chapel Church. Joe never met a stranger. He had a way of making everyone he encountered feel as though they had been friends for years. He was a true sportsman who loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed all things sports. He proudly supported the Harmony Grove Cardinals football program from its beginning and loved watching the team and being part of its journey.
Joe was a man who loved helping others and always tried to see the best in people. He had a generous heart, a quick wit, and a gift for making people feel welcome and loved. Above all else, his greatest joy was his family. Some of his happiest moments were spent with Dorena, enjoying their time together by the pool and simply making memories with family. He also loved spending time with his beloved companion, Sugar, his Labradoodle.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Joe Kitchens and Jean Kitchens.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Dorena; his daughter, Monica Russell (Bobby), and their sons, Peyton and Brayden; his son, Jason Byrd, and his sons, Cameron and Colby; and his great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Rowan, children of Colby. He also leaves behind his sister, Patsy James (Jerry); his nieces and nephews, Jana Toler (Wes), Jared Toler (Megan), and Drake Toler; and his favorite cousin, Jimmie Richards.
Though our hearts are broken by his absence, we find comfort knowing that he is now in his heavenly home, surrounded by the peace and love of his Savior.
In lieu of flowers you can make donations in honor of Joe to the Harmony Grove Athletic Program, Friends of Arkansas Health Center or the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. Minister will be Bro. Eddie Kitchens. Burial will follow at Graham Cemetery.

Keith Rowe Harris
Keith Rowe Harris, 60, of Benton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 23, Born on February 13, 1966, in Long Island, New York, he was the son of the late Carl Harris and Karen (Doescher) Harris.
Keith had a deep love for the outdoors, nature, and all things science. His curiosity about the world and passion for learning shaped both his career and the way he lived his life. Above all, he cherished his family and especially loved watching his sons play football, proudly cheering them on and celebrating every moment they shared together.
In 1998, Keith met the love of his life, Kristin, while they were both working as zookeepers at Riverbanks Zoo. They were married on April 20, 2000, and together built a life centered on love and family. They welcomed two beloved sons, Elijah in 2005 and Gabriel in 2011, who were the pride and joy of his life.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Harris and Karen (Doescher) Harris.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Kristin Harris; his sons, Elijah Harris and Gabriel Harris; his brothers, Kevin (Christine) Harris of Connecticut and Scott (Lisa) Harris of California; his sister, Catie Harris of South Carolina; his stepmother, Barbara Harris of South Carolina; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jon Daniel “Danny” Jordan
If you asked Danny what mattered most in life, he would have answered without hesitation: God first, family always.
Jon Daniel “Danny” Jordan, 68, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026. Born on September 4, 1957, in Malvern, Arkansas, Danny lived a life defined by unwavering faith, selfless service, and deep love for his family.
Above all, Danny was a man of God whose faith guided every aspect of his life. He was a devoted husband, father, Papaw, educator, and friend whose quiet strength, kindness, and steadfast character left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Family was the greatest blessing of Danny’s life. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Katherine “Kathy” Jordan; his son, Grant Daniel Jordan, and daughter-in-law, Ashlyn Jordan; his daughter, Sarah Katherine Jordan; his cherished grandchildren, Wyatt Daniel Jordan and Palmer Grace Jordan, who lovingly knew him as “Papaw”; his sister, Sallye Beth Jordan; his beloved in-laws, Frank and Mary Grant; brother-in-law, Frank Edward Grant; his special cousin, Rebecca Montgomery Dickinson; and his lifelong friends, Bruce and Kathy Carlisle and Tony and Regina Prothro.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Murl and Jewell Jordan; his precious Uncle Arlie Daniel; and his infant son, Blake Samuel Jordan.
Danny devoted his career to Arkansas education, serving as both a teacher and administrator. He believed every child deserved the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, and he poured his heart into encouraging generations of students, educators, and families.
He found joy in time spent with those he loved, whether riding his Harley-Davidson, cheering on his favorite sports teams, traveling, or simply making memories with family and friends. His legacy of faith, compassion, integrity, and service will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of new school supplies be made to Benton Public Schools in memory of Danny Jordan, honoring his lifelong belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive.
Active pallbearers are Tony Prothro, Bruce Carlisle, John Dedman and Allan Yearry.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, July 27 at the First Baptist Church, Benton, Arkansas in Selph Hall followed by the services at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be 1:30 PM at Ouachita Cemetery in Donaldson, Arkansas.
Jeannette “Jan” (Boulay) Sansoucy
Jeannette “Jan” (Boulay) Sansoucy, 86, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, surrounded by her adoring family. A devoted mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and the wise, steady matriarch of the Sansoucy family, Jan’s life was defined by love, courage, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.
Born on November 15, 1939, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to George and Ida Boulay, Jan grew into a strong, fearless, and deeply compassionate woman. In 1957, she graduated from St.Anthony’s in New Bedford, where her faith and dedication to community became apparent. These values followed her throughout her life, no matter where the Air Force sent her family.
With her beloved husband, Conrad F. “Sam” Sansoucy, Jan traveled the world while raising their six children—a feat that revealed her remarkable resilience and grace. Their homes spanned England, Greece, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Arkansas, each place contributed to Jan’s warmth, strong convictions, and ability to build community wherever she landed.
Her work with the teens and youth of Hellenikon Air Base in Athens earned her the honor of “Woman of the Year” in 1977, a testament to her generosity and her ability to uplift others.
In the 1980s, Jan began her career as a USAF Civil Servant, quickly rising into top management roles through her intelligence, work ethic, and natural leadership. Always ahead of her time, she was a force for good, and she led by example, offering her children a model of strength, integrity, and compassion that shaped their lives and continues to guide them.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ida Boulay, and by her husband of 30 years and best friend of more than 50 years, Conrad F. “Sam” Sansoucy, beloved son-in-law Chris Butler and great grandchild, Isla James Humphrey.
She is survived by her six children: Mark A. Sansoucy of Benton, AR; George R. Sansoucy and his partner, Raul Briceno of Guatemala/Colombia; Michelle A. (Sansoucy) Gillum and her husband, Kenny, of Springdale, AR; Katherine M. (Sansoucy) Butler of Benton, AR; Cori Sansoucy of Hot Springs, AR; John P. Sansoucy and his wife, Meredith of Austin, TX.
Jan is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer and Robbie Mitchell of Benton, AR; Blake and Amy Humphrey of Alexander, AR; Alicia Gillum of Huntsville, AL; Samson and Jude Sansoucy of Austin, TX.
And lastly, Jan is survived by her great grandchildren, Barrett and Rhett Mitchell of Benton, AR who adored their “Gran Gran”.

To my children, their spouses, who are also my children, and my grand-children and their spouses – they too are my children – and my great grand-children. The joy you have all brought me is beyond what I deserved.
