The Alexander Fire Department invites the community to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a “Cake in the Park” event on the Fourth of July. The mid-day gathering offers residents a chance to meet local firefighters and enjoy a patriotic treat.
The festivities will run from 11 a.m. to noon. Firefighters will be handing out slices of red, white, and blue cake to attendees in honor of Independence Day and the nation’s semiquincentennial milestone.
In addition to the complimentary dessert, the event provides a casual setting for families to interact with their local first responders. Members of the Alexander Fire Department will be present alongside Engine 37, allowing the community to celebrate the holiday alongside the crew.
