The Saline County Fairgrounds will host a Flea Market & Trade Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, aimed at raising funds to update the local facility. Read more below.
The event will run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 406 Fairfield Road in Benton. Admission to the fairgrounds is free to the general public.
Gates open to shoppers at 8:00 AM, featuring a variety of vendor booths. According to organizers, available items will include standard yard sale goods, secondhand flea market items, handmade crafts, and agricultural products such as fresh eggs, produce, and live animals.
At 10:00 AM, the event will expand to include a Rabbit Show alongside operational food concessions and other fairground activities.
Organizers are currently accepting applications for individuals and businesses looking to sell goods. Booth rental pricing is structured by location and size:
- Outside Space (12’x12′): $25
- Inside Space (10’x10′): $50
- Food Truck Space: $100
Rental spaces do not include amenities; vendors must supply their own tents, tables, chairs, electricity, and water. Organizers have stated that all setup fees are non-refundable.
Additionally, participating commercial businesses must comply with standard local licensing requirements. Vendors planning to showcase or sell live animals are legally required to meet all state and local agricultural regulations.
According to the event management, all revenue generated from the vendor setup fees will be allocated toward the ongoing effort to rebuild and improve the infrastructure of the Saline County Fairgrounds.
