Residents of Bauxite will have an opportunity to meet and talk with Police Chief Washington during a community meet-and-greet scheduled for Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. Read more below.

The event will take place at Bauxite City Hall, where community members can stop by to introduce themselves, ask questions, and learn more about local law enforcement.

Chief Washington started in a social media post that he is looking forward to meeting more residents and answering questions about the department and issues that are important to the community.

Anyone who cannot attend the event in person is encouraged to send questions through the department’s Facebook page, where officials say the chief will work to provide answers.

City officials say they hope the event helps strengthen communication and connections between the police department and the community.
