The EMpact One Foundation will host Thankuary: Coffee, Community & EMpact, a morning gathering focused on gratitude, connection, and community impact, on Friday, February 20, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Summerwood Sports Conference Room, located at 1500 Christy Lane in Alexander.
The event is part of EMpact One’s annual Thankuary initiative — a month dedicated to celebrating donors, sponsors, partners, and community members who make the organization’s work possible. The casual, come-and-go event will include coffee and donuts and is open to current supporters, partner organizations, prospective donors and sponsors, and anyone interested in learning more about The EMpact One Foundation.
“This is truly a thank-you event,” said Bekka Middleton Wilkerson, Executive Director of The EMpact One Foundation. “Whether someone has supported EMpact One for years or is just learning about our mission, we want them to feel welcomed, appreciated, and connected to the impact happening in our community.”
Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about EMpact One’s core programs — including Tuition Assistance, the Mobile Sports Locker, YES! Awards, and the Blessings Box — while connecting with others who share a passion for supporting youth and families.
There is no formal program or fundraising pitch. Instead, the event is designed to foster meaningful conversations, celebrate six years of impact, and invite the community to explore how they can get involved moving forward.
