The following are Ballot Issues and Candidates for races touching Saline County, Arkansas.
There are five proposed ballot issues:
- Issue No. 1:
A proposed constitutional amendment titled “The Citizens Only Voting Amendment,” specifying that only U.S. citizens meeting elector qualifications under the Arkansas Constitution may vote in state or local elections. - Issue No. 2:
A constitutional amendment protecting the individual right to keep and bear arms for defense, hunting, and recreational use, including ammunition and firearm accessories. - Issue No. 3:
A constitutional amendment authorizing the General Assembly to establish local economic development districts within cities, counties, or cooperative areas. - Issue No. 4:
The Arkansas Water, Waste Disposal, and Pollution Abatement Facilities Financing Act of 2025, authorizing the issuance of up to $500 million in general obligation bonds for water and waste projects. - Issue No. 5 (Local Measure):
Saline County Ordinance No. 2026-8, proposing to reduce the existing Saline County Library ad valorem tax rate from 1.7 mills to 1.1 mills on assessed property valuation.
