Benton Utilities Making Water Improvements Along Bel Aire Street

According to Benton Utilities, their water department will be doing the following work on Bel Aire Street within the next few weeks.

Crews will be upgrading the existing 2” water main with a new 6” PVC water main. They will replace the service line from the new water main to the current meter location. They will also add a fire hydrant about midway down the street.

The company says this will provide better fire protection for the home owners and increased safety for the fire department.

There will be a supervisor in contact with residents about access along the street right of way, moving vehicles, and other construction issues.
