We don’t normally report on news outside Saline, but Arkansas has had excessive rainfall in the last day, to the point that flooding has caused Interstate 30 to close in Clark County. If you’re headed that way, you will have to go around for a while. See more on the flooding on KATV’s website.
The Clark County Humane Society was also flooded last night and they need people to foster animals.
There is a high risk for excessive rainfall for portions of southwest Arkansas. Heavy rainfall has already occurred early this morning, and additional heavy rainfall will continue. Flash flooding will be likely for some areas in the highest risk areas. River flooding will be possible by the middle of next week.
