The Women In Networking (WIN) chapter in Saline County hosts a luncheon once a month on 2nd Wednesdays. Everyone gets a chance to talk about their business, there’s always a speaker, and a yummy lunch. Want a chance to talk even more about your business? Bring a door prize – WIN calls it a Happy.

Heather McKim is the Chief Operating Officer for the Office of Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge. She oversees a number of departments including fiscal, community engagement, crime victims, human resources, information technology, and public affairs, totaling more than 170 employees.
Prior to joining the Attorney General’s office in January, Heather worked at the State Board of Election Commissioners where she served as both Director and Deputy Director. Heather has served in various state and local government positions for nearly 25 years, including offices of the Arkansas Secretary of State, Arkansas State Senate, Lt. Governor Win Rockefeller, and the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit.
Additionally, from January 2011 until December 2014, Heather served as the elected City Clerk for the City of Bryant. As City Clerk, Heather was awarded the 2011 Pioneer Award at the National Institute of Municipal Clerks Convention, and served on the Municipal League Advisory Council for Cities of the first and second class.
Heather also previously worked as the Finance Director for the Republican Party of Arkansas in 2010, 2015, and 2016, and was responsible for the collaboration and development of various major fundraising projects and high level events, as well as, the coordination of activities for the Arkansas Delegation to the 2016 RNC National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.
Heather has been an advocate for abused and neglected children for several years, serving as a member of the Saline County Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board and as a volunteer for the Bryant Boys and Girls Club. She was recognized by the Bryant Boys and Girls Club as their 2015 Volunteer of the Year and was appointed to their Board in 2018.
In May 2018, Heather was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Children’s Advocacy Center serving Garland and Saline Counties. She has served First Lady Susan Hutchinson and Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas as the Co-Chair of the Arkansas Woman of Inspiration Gala in 2018 and 2019.
Heather has been a Saline County resident for most of her life and currently lives in Bryant with her husband, Mike. They have three children, Aaron, Ashlin, and Trey. Heather holds a Masters of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix. She is an avid distance runner and is a member of the Saline County Striders. Heather and Mike attend New Life Church in Bryant.
