Two Saline County Homicides Over the Weekend
Mabelvale Fatal Stabbing
DAVIDSON
About 7pm Friday, Deputies responded to a residence on Brimer Lane, Mabelvale for a disturbance. Upon arrival they found the victim, Chris Yarberry, age 33, had been stabbed, and the suspect, George Davidson, age 33, had fled the scene. The victim was transported by MedFlight from the scene and transported to Baptist Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds several hours later. Suspect was arrested several hours later after being located by Deputies and Detectives. He is being held on 1st degree Murder with no bond pending a bond hearing. OFFENSE REPORT
Benton Fatal Stabbing
ALBERTSON
The Saline County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on N. Detonti Road, Benton, AR. Upon arrival Deputies found that a disturbance and stabbing had occurred inside the residence, between the suspect and both his mother and step-father. The suspect, Jonathan Albertson, age 23, was taken into custody at the scene. The victim, Joseph Gonsalves, age 48, was transported by ambulance to Saline Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced. The suspect is being held on 1st degree murder charge with no bond. OFFENSE REPORT
