The Sheriff's Office Believes They Alone Should Choose Your Next Sheriff

The call has gone out to the Brotherhood --This is a post on Bruce4Sheriff  web page-- this is the mentality in our sheriff's office and it should scare every citizen in Saline County:
"I know as brothers and sisters in law enforcement throughout every agency in Saline County, we can band together as the family we are as a whole and network to our family and friends to ensure the Re Election of one of our own... Each and every Officer, Trooper, and Deputy knows the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice that goes into our profession.... The Sheriff position should not be up for grabs for any "Average Joe" with the gift of gab.... Successfully filling this position is something that is only earned through many years of dedication to Public Service. Our Brother in Law Enforcement, BRUCE PENNINGTON, has earned his place in law enforcement. Has the opponent walked in any of our shoes as career law enforcement officers? If not, Why risk over 30 years of experience for the unknown, uncertain capabilities of the opponent? - R. Scott -"

No, not at all in fact I took a picture of the curb and it was determined that it WAS NOT a fire lane.   Wow, you guys are really strecthing for anything tonight as your time is limited to approximately 45 hours and 45 mins till your little world comes crumbling down.

Comment by Ron Evans III on May 21, 2012 at 12:12am

Oh and Mr. Hutto.  It's not a lie.  I know what happened. Just want you to tell everyone the truth about it.

Comment by Ron Evans III on May 21, 2012 at 12:10am

You were instructed to park your car in the fire lane and go in and watch a movie?  Did you get in trouble withe the sheriff for that?  Come on, Bill. Tell the truth.

Comment by Bill M Hutto on May 21, 2012 at 12:08am

I was instructed to do so and I paid for the movie prior to going on shift as a reserve (for no pay).  Thank you for your intrerest in that kodak moment.  No harm no (FOWL) FRIENDS OF WARD LIE!

Comment by Ron Evans III on May 20, 2012 at 11:32pm

Mr. Hutto.  Who was the deputy that parked in front of Tinseltown (In the fire lane) a few years ago and treated his family to a movie?  Do you know anything about that?

Comment by Bill M Hutto on May 20, 2012 at 11:00pm

@Casey--Well I am sure you believe everything you are writing and that is your opinion.  Your wrong Casey.  Ward must prove he is the person to be elected to that position.  Yes I am a citizen and I exercise my right to vote for the best person for the job.  Again, I say No to WARD.

We work very hard with citizens everyday and I have a solid record in law enforcement.  I need not explain myself to you as you are set in your ways.  Good night.  47 hours left Casey. 47 hours.

Also the TRUSTEE who escaped was under the supervision of the city road crew division. They had hi. out working with the road department just FYI. He didn't escape from jail or a deputy but from our city roads department who allows trustees to work for them.
Comment by Casey Smith on May 20, 2012 at 9:31pm

No one has to prove themself to you Mr. Hutto..... you work for the citizens ...............and your arrogance is sad

Comment by Casey Smith on May 20, 2012 at 9:29pm

Mr. Hutto,

You are showing us exaclty what citizens do not want. You think your better than everyone else because you a LEO. This is the mentalitly i want to get rid of. Maybe if our officers treated citizens as equals then their would be more cooperation from citizens to catch people. Instead you act as if you are entitled or citizens have something to prove to you. Once again your showing you true colors on here.  I personally know there are some great cops out there that do not act like you..but you sure make it hard for them to get the benifit of the doubt.

Comment by Bill M Hutto on May 20, 2012 at 8:20pm

No Wendy -- Ward is not a proven product in the LEO world.  His past behavior is a sure predictor of future behavior and thats scarey.  Law Enforcement is a very dangerous place.  The LEO world is not a "Good Old Boy" network but a business that can get someone hurt.  If someone has doubts about the leader or partner in the field that person should not be put into a postion to die or get hurt.
