Sheriffs Daughter [ADMIN EDIT: DON'T POST ABOUT CANDIDATE FAMILY]

[ADMIN EDIT] A photo was taken from the personal Facebook account of Sheriff Bruce Pennington's daughter and posted here on this this page on MySaline. I have printed it and suspended the member who posted it. I could delete the post, but chose to edit the content and leave the rest here as a note to anyone else.

Say all you want about any candidate on either side, and people will take it according to how you say it and vote how they want, but NEVER, EVER pull the family members into the discussion. "John Cooper" is no longer a member here.

Mr. Burks,

You say this lady has some nerve but that street works both ways. Seems your doing the same type of bashing. After reading your post i can see why people think certian ways about you.

Tell you what... reading some of the posts from some of the people on Facebook can be hilarious and very telling.

I'm looking forward to the next sheriff's election. Former lying corrupt terminated and decertified cop vs Sheriff Pennington. lmao, that one will be funny.

It is a shame that hate consumes some people. I pray that those that have hate in their hearts find ways to come to peace. You may not believe in the Lord or the power of prayer, but I do, and this is the one thing you can never take from a person - their ability to pray.

You may not think this is the topic or place to talk about prayer, but I strongly disagree. It is obvious that some here are filled with anguish, grief and despair. I pray that you do find peace, but you won't ever find it until you come to the conclusion that hate is causing the pain and that the hate has consumed the body, mind and spirit. With sincerity, I pray for you to find peace and let go of the hate.

How in the world is this not being rude and negative to other members:

Well yes Heather, we should make an exception in the rules for you because it was necessary for you to break them.

Ok, please stop. Stop with all this "politics" ... it doesn't convey in every single topic, yet some people think that it does. Shelli isn't involved in some sort of political conspiracy.

Besides, if Shelli was banning people for politics, she would have been banning people from the beginning of all the hate mongering that some people on here took a part in. I am pretty sure that Shelli believes in freedom of speech (but here is the part that EVERYONE forgets) that as long as it isn't infringing on another person's rights.

Shelli, you did the right thing. Thank you for weeding out all the internet bullies (I say internet because they sure wouldn't be bullying out in public or probably even face to face).

How is banning a member because he posted a picture of a candidate's family personal politics?

Yes, Shelli has her own personal political views, just like the rest of us. Does banning someone who happens to be posting something that violates the site policy, AND is detrimental to a candidate one happens to support mean that someone is injecting personal politics into a business decision? I don't think so.

It's very obvious that Shelli allows political opinions from all sides to be posted and remain posted, even when many of us would prefer it not to be here at the level it has been lately. If anything, I think many of us would say that Shelli errs to the side of not removing and/or banning enough posts and members.
