Road trip!
Last Friday, my sweet mother celebrated her 75th birthday. I loaded my little furbaby Rusty in the car and went to Oklahoma City to celebrate with her. My hubby wanted to go but he had Grad school to deal with.
Mom wasn't expecting me. It was a surprise my sister dreamed up. I'll never forget the look on mom's face when she saw me! She was so thrilled!!!
We took her shopping and had dinner at this beautiful restaurant overlooking Lake Hefner. Then back at the house, it was a special-ordered chocolate mousse cake from a French bakery and gifts. Nothing says love like Godiva chocolate!!! LOL!
Mom said the day was perfect except she missed seeing her son-in-law - my hubby. But they both sent love and hugs to each other.
It was a great time.

Perfectly fantastic day! I only wish I could have stayed a bit longer, but it had to be one of those quick trips.
