Why would anyone rip Shelli for voting for Pennington?  I am voting for Ward, but I dont look to hog tie Shelli & or dismember her.  lol

Who all are running for sherriff?  If it is just Bruce Pennington and James Ward, it is no contest!!! Bruce wins.

Shelli, get ready.  You've just endorsed Pennington. They are going to rip you limb from limb, if not here (since you can remove them), then in all their private conversations.  The "she" I have been addressing is our own Gina H. Reynolds, the legal voice and expert for all of Saline County, who knows every aspect of every office, and the failings of each and every elected official -- as long as they are the ones the elite don't like.

She is yet another member coming on here, expecting to criticize freely and when anyone calls her on it with any kind of force, they are falsely accused of "name calling."  In her case, it was on her most recent blog, where she is controlling comments and pretending not to.  Told me that I was taking down the website by engaging in name calling but the only problem is that when she posted this remark, there were only three posts -- hers and mine -- and no name calling at all.  They count on readers not to read back far enough to find out.

What "she" are you talking about? I'm voting for Pennington, btw. I know him to be a qualified, experienced man for the job and I trust his even-keeled temperament. I've not seen a more qualified candidate.

Just a note regarding my opening exchange with Ms. Reynolds on the other blog....take note of the veiled accusation of conduct not engaged in (name calling) and the denial of "speaking for other people" when that is clearly the case (Sheriff Pennington's opposition.)  The entire posting is not a revealing of a position on evidence, but a slam piece to encourage others in not voting for "the current one" (sheriff.)  Here is the exchange:

Ricky, this is the first time I have ever posted a new topic.  I didn't realize I had the approval whatever on, but I have no problem approving every comment.  I don't censor people's thoughts.

I know that James Ward is running in the Republican primary, however, I haven't seen any information about whether someone is running as a Democrat.  I had heard Larry Davis was running as a Democrat, but have not seen any publicity regarding that. So, I haven't made up my mind.  I have in the past, just not voted in a specific race when all the choices were repugnant to me.

Please do check out the facts behind my post.  It was in Saline County District Court in front of Judge Mike Robinson.  Although that court is not a court of record, there is an audio recording made and kept for one year. Please do check out my facts.

Mr. Tripp, I don't call you names or speak for other people.  I would appreciate the same curtesy from you.  It degrades this board.

I will thoroughly investigate your entire allegation and, unless censored, will be back here to respond to it.

As for this statement, you have got to be kidding me: "I am not supporting any particular candidate for Saline County Sheriff, but I will not vote for the current one."  Let's see....hmmmm, who does that leave?  You're serious?  You consider that to be a coherant remark?  Like the recent poster who ripped Dennis Milligan wide open, and then said her mind WASN'T made up as to who to vote for?

Did you drink the same water, Gina?  Funny how you come here and you're always the expert on everything involving the court system and now even the Sheriff's department, always the same feigned authority about everything.  I can't wait to dig into this one.

As any literate person can read, there was no name caling or abusive language used.  To say it doesn't make it so, but this is how some people roll here.  I could say the sky is blue, and someone would accuse me of name calling.  Sometimes I feel like I'm back in grade school.

Enough of this.  On with the investigation.  Details coming soon -- by an adult.
